About

Khalid Abolkhair is a current Ph.D. student in the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management.  His research with Dr. Franz is focused on modeling cost certainty on construction projects under a variety of different project conditions, including project delivery methods, contract terms and team procurement processes.  By determining when, under what circumstances and to what degree cost certainty is achieved, these models will help to reduce the risk of cost overruns.  In addition to his graduate work, Khalid is also a lecturer in the College of Architecture and Planning at King Saud University (KSA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
